[…] So how are those communities responding to that? So, yes, it's crazy to say, but race motivated attacks now outpace sectarian attacks in Northern Ireland, which alone is an incredible statistic. New figures from the PSNI show 512 race motivated hate incidents were recorded in June alone, which was the highest on record. However, they've been peaking for the last three summers. And each time there is a violent crime publicly reported, allegedly involving an immigrant or person of colour. It can be in Northern Ireland or elsewhere in the UK. And then riots will erupt in response to that. But they'll target the immigrant community as a whole. […]
