Redemption Through a Dream ( A love letter to Marilyn Louise Fluellen aka Mom)

Chef Bryce gets deeply personal in Episode 5 and share's a chapter from his first book, Food A Vehicle For Healing ( The Fruitful Journey Pt.1) available on Amazon. Chapter 1, Redemption Through a Dream shares how he wasn't fully able to forgive his Mother until working and cooking at the Dream Center in Los Angeles alongside former addicts. He hopes by sharing his experience and journey it will help others understand the power of forgiveness.

" I was devastated by this experience. When I was a child, my mother was my hero. However, when the demon of drugs entered her life, the person I once adored disappeared. I quietly imagined a day when she would get clean and become the mother that I once knew. I prayed to God for years but finally gave up, and over a span of 15 years, our relationship deteriorated. I can't tell you the exact day or time, but my emotions could no longer take the hurt and pain of disappointment. I closed my heart, adjusted my expectations, and continued living." Chef Bryce

Episode 5 Dedicated to Marilyn Fluellen, Henry Porter, and Andrew Wells RIP. Love ya!
