This episode is the second of a three part series, exploring the journey of non-traditional medical students and residents who transitioned from careers or residency programs in their journey to become a medical professional. In Part 2, host Izzy sits down with fellow classmates Paul Rastrelli and Joey Cleveland to discuss changing from a career in engineering and finance, respectively, to pursuing a medical degree. We discuss the decision to change career paths, the process of building a medical school application from scratch, and lessons they learned from their prior careers they hope to bring into their work as a physician.
