EPISODE 12 - Becoming Her in 2026: Identity, Standards & The End of Excuses

In today’s episode, I’m stepping fully back into alignment and into the standard I hold for myself — and that includes showing up consistently here. We’re diving into a powerful topic: How to become her in 2026 — through identity, standards, structure, and self-respect. Because here’s the truth many women quietly avoid… You are not behind. You are not incapable. You are simply operating within standards that no longer match the woman you want to become. This episode is for the woman who feels the pull toward more — in her body, her business, her confidence, her life — but knows she has been negotiating with comfort. We explore: ✨Why most people don’t fail — they remain comfortable ✨The difference between goals (which can evolve) and standards (which are non-negotiable) ✨How identity influences your training, business, finances, time management, and self-talk ✨Why your environment directly impacts your clarity and performance ✨The importance of respecting financial commitments and business boundaries ✨Why confidence is built through action, not waiting ✨How structure reflects self-respect, not restriction ✨The role of mentorship, accountability, and support in accelerating growth ✨ And the defining question for your year: If nothing changes, will you be proud of where you are this time next year? This is not about reinventing yourself overnight. It’s about aligning your daily behaviour with the identity of the woman you are becoming. You don’t need more motivation. You need higher standards. Who This Episode Is For: ✓ Women who know they are meant for more ✓ Coaches or service providers wanting stronger structure in their business ✓ High-achievers who feel stuck in comfort ✓ Women ready to stop negotiating with excuses ✓ Anyone consciously stepping into their “becoming her” era Episode Reflection Take time with these. Reflect honestly. Journal intentionally. 01. Self-Belief / Vision What does the dream version of my life look like in detail? If I had full belief in myself, what would I begin immediately? Where am I seeking validation instead of trusting my own vision? 02. Worthiness / Identity What beliefs or narratives are holding me back from becoming “her”? Who do I become when I stop trying to be understood by others? In what areas am I settling because I don’t feel fully ready? 03. Business / Purpose Who is the one woman I am best positioned to serve? How would my business feel if it were simple, structured, and sustainable? What systems would create more freedom and stability? Where do I need to strengthen boundaries or elevate standards? 04. Action / Clarity What action have I been avoiding that would create clarity? Where am I stopping too early because progress feels slow? What would I build if I stopped waiting to feel confident first? 05. Gratitude + Ambition What am I deeply grateful for right now? What do I desire next — without guilt or hesitation? If you are ready to move differently in 2026 — with clarity, structure, and support — this is your moment to decide. If this episode resonated with you, send me a DM with the word “HER” (for fitness/lifestyle coaching) or “BUSINESS” (for mentorship). Let’s build your next level !

EPISODE 11 - Building Your Dream Reality (Mindset, Business, & Belief)

In today’s episode, I’m coming to you from Europe, currently in London with Rome up next, and I wanted to talk about something I feel deeply called to speak on: building your dream reality. Because here’s the truth that most people forget… Wanting more does not make you ungrateful. It makes you honest. This episode is for the girl who feels restless, ambitious, and deeply aware that she is meant for more in her life, in her body, in her career, in her purpose. We’re diving into: ✨ The mindset most women avoid that actually builds success ✨ Why belief matters more than approval (and why most people won’t get it until they see it) ✨ What it actually takes to build a business behind the scenes (systems, structure, sustainability) ✨ Why chasing your dreams requires you to be a little bit delusional ✨ The experiences that shaped my self-belief, including comp prep & scaling a six-figure coaching business ✨ Why clarity doesn’t come from thinking, it comes from taking action ✨ The exact reason most people quit too early ✨ The difference between being grateful and settling ✨ And why your dream deserves structure, support, and seriousness If no one has told you this lately: You are capable of building a life you are obsessed with. The only person who needs to believe in you… is you. Who This Episode Is For: ✓ Women who know they’re meant for more ✓ New online coaches or PTs wanting to build sustainably ✓ High-achievers battling limiting beliefs ✓ Anyone building a business or chasing a goal ✓ Ambitious girls in their “becoming her” era Use these to deepen the episode reflection: 01. Self-Belief / Vision What does the dream version of my life look like in detail? If I had full belief in myself, what would I start doing immediately? Where am I outsourcing validation instead of trusting my own vision? 02. Worthiness / Identity What stories or beliefs are holding me back from becoming “her”? Who do I become when I stop trying to be understood by others? In what areas am I still settling because I don’t feel “ready enough”? 03. Business / Purpose Who is the one woman I am best equipped to help? How would my business feel if it was simple, structured, and sustainable? What systems or supports would give me more freedom? 04. Action / Clarity What is one action I’ve been avoiding that would give me clarity? Where am I stopping too soon because the results feel slow? What would I build if I stopped waiting to feel confident first? 05. Gratitude + Ambition What am I deeply grateful for right now? And what more do I desire, without guilt or shame? If this episode landed… I want you to remember this: Your dream deserves structure. Your vision deserves support. And you deserve to be taken seriously, especially by yourself! If you’re a coach or PT wanting to build a sustainable business with clarity, systems and support, my mentorship may be the thing you’ve been missing. EPISODE 10 - There Are No Limits: How to Break Free from Limiting Beliefs

In this episode of In Your Era, we’re diving deep into the invisible beliefs that quietly hold so many women back, and how to break free from them. We talk about: What limiting beliefs actually are and how they’re formed How fear disguises itself as “being realistic” The subtle signs your thoughts are keeping you stuck How bodybuilding and building my business taught me to challenge my own limits The exact steps to dismantle limiting beliefs and rewire your identity Why action, not confidence, is what changes belief If you’ve ever felt like you’re meant for more but can’t seem to move forward, this episode will help you identify the story that’s holding you back, and rewrite it. Because there are no limits on who you can become. Only beliefs waiting to be questioned Take some time after this episode to reflect and write honestly: What belief about myself has been holding me back the most lately? Where did this belief come from? What has this belief cost me? Confidence, opportunities, time, growth, or self-trust? What evidence do I have that this belief might not be true? List at least 3 moments where you showed discipline, courage, or consistency. If I didn’t believe this limitation, what would I try next? Be specific. What action would I take? What is one small step I can take this week that aligns with the woman I want to become? If this episode resonated and you’re ready to break free from old beliefs and step into the version of you that already exists underneath them… DM me “HER” on Instagram @laurenkmattick Let’s build the habits, confidence, and identity that match the life you know you’re capable of!

Episode 9 - You don't become HER by playing it safe

You don’t become her by playing it safe. In this episode of In Your Era, I talk about why growth only happens when you’re willing to be uncomfortable. From bodybuilding to building my own business, every version of me I’m proud of started with a scary decision, not because I felt ready, but because I chose to try anyway. If you’re feeling stuck, restless, or like you’re meant for more, this episode is your sign. Because confidence isn’t found in comfort. It’s built through courage. 🎧 Press play if you’re ready to take your next leap.

Episode 8 - Getting back on track whilst travelling

In today’s episode, I’m catching you up on everything, the good, the messy and the very human parts of life after competing. I honestly thought I’d bounce straight back into routine and podcasting after comp… but mentally, I just wasn’t there. Post-comp hit me harder than I expected. The food noise, the lack of structure, travelling, trying to keep up with life and business, it all felt like a lot. But I promised to always be real with you. So here’s where I’m truly at. We chat about: ✨ Navigating post-comp hunger, emotions & overindulging ✨ Why I stopped tracking while travelling and why I don’t regret it ✨ Getting back into routine without the Monday-start mindset ✨ Rebuilding healthy habits while still enjoying my life overseas ✨ Feeling disconnected from myself… and finding my way back ✨ The pressure of “always doing more” and learning to slow down ✨ Actually celebrating your wins instead of racing to the next goal ✨ Being present and realising you’re living the life you once dreamt about This episode is raw, unfiltered, and honestly… exactly what I needed to say. If you’re navigating a messy season, feeling off-track, or struggling to find your routine again, I hope this lands exactly where it needs to. Use these to reflect after listening: Where in my life am I expecting myself to be perfect? What habits make me feel grounded and connected to myself? What is one win I haven’t properly celebrated yet? Where am I rushing instead of being present? What do I need this week to feel more like me? What version of me did younger me dream of becoming? Am I living that now?

EPISODE 7 - It's not just about the end result!

After taking a short break, Lauren’s back with a raw and powerful episode written during her comp prep in the Gold Coast. This one dives deep into the mindset behind growth, resilience, and why the journey, not just the end result, is where the real magic happens. Whether you’re working toward a fitness goal, business dream, or personal transformation, this episode will remind you to slow down, stay grateful, and enjoy the process. Journal prompts for reflection; Are you currently working towards a goal? & if so, are you just focused on the end result? Or are you actually enjoying each day of your journey? If you are, that's great. If you're not, what could you be doing differently to enjoy the process? How could you structure your routine so you get excited to wake up each day and get after it and get the non-negotiables done? If you're hating where you're at right now, what needs to change? Is the goal you are working for, not aligned? Did you think it was, and now you've realized it's not?

Episode 6 - The Scale Doesn’t Define Your Worth

For many women, the scale has become more than a tool—it’s a daily verdict on self-worth, progress, and even confidence. But the truth is, your weight is not the ultimate measure of your health, growth, or success. In this episode of In Your Era, I share a framework to help you step away from scale obsession and toward a more holistic view of progress. Together, we’ll explore how to redefine success by focusing on identity, mindset, and sustainable habits. You’ll discover: Why weight naturally fluctuates and why it doesn’t tell the full story. How building muscle can shift the scale without diminishing your results. The importance of tracking non-scale wins such as improved energy, better sleep, and confidence. How to reframe progress through identity-based measures rather than numbers. Practical strategies and affirmations to foster a healthier mindset around your journey. This episode is designed to help you shift focus from external outcomes to daily actions that build the woman you want to become. If you’ve ever allowed a single number to define your day, this episode will equip you with the perspective and tools to break free from that cycle. Listen now and begin embracing a version of progress that truly reflects your worth. Journal Prompts from this episode: When you step on the scale, what emotions come up for you? What do those feelings reveal about your current mindset? If the scale didn’t exist, how else would you measure your progress in health, fitness, and confidence? What are three non-scale wins you’ve experienced recently that deserve recognition? Are you more focused on outcomes, or are you valuing the consistent habits that support your long-term growth? What negative thoughts do you repeat about your body or progress, and how can you reframe them with affirmations? How did you show up for yourself today? How did you show up for yourself this week? If you were living as the woman you aspire to become, what would your daily habits and mindset look like?

Episode 5 - 5 Keys to Smarter Training and Nutrition

Too many women approach fitness with frustration—working hard but not seeing the results they deserve. The problem isn’t effort; it’s misinformation. In this episode of In Your Era, I share the five essential principles of training and nutrition that I wish everyone knew before stepping foot in the gym or logging another meal. These are the fundamentals that simplify the process, maximize results, and help you build a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle. You’ll learn: Why training with intention matters more than lifting heavy for the sake of it. Why eating more (not less) is often the missing link to fat loss and muscle growth. Why macronutrients—not just calories—determine progress and performance. The importance of whole, nutrient-dense foods as the foundation of any plan. Why recovery and rest days are vital for long-term progress and injury prevention. This episode will challenge common fitness myths and equip you with practical insights to finally align your habits with your goals. Whether you’re a beginner or well into your journey, these five shifts can help you break through plateaus and fall in love with the process. Listen now! Journal Prompts from this episode: How intentional am I during my training sessions? Do I prioritize form and muscle connection, or am I focused only on completing the workout? Do I consistently restrict my food intake, or am I fueling my body in a way that supports energy, recovery, and results? How balanced is my approach to macronutrients? Which one—protein, carbs, or fats—do I tend to neglect, and how can I improve? What percentage of my current diet is made up of whole foods versus processed convenience foods? How does this impact how I feel daily? Do I schedule and honor recovery days with the same seriousness as my training days? How can I improve my approach to rest? Reflecting on these five principles, which one stands out as my biggest area for growth, and what action can I take this week to shift it?

   Episode 4 -The Comparison Trap

Do you ever feel like no matter what you achieve, it still doesn’t feel like enough? You hit a milestone, but before you’ve even had a chance to celebrate, you’re already chasing the next one. In this episode of In Your Era, I explore the mindset that keeps us feeling like we’re always falling short — from constantly raising our expectations to comparing ourselves with others on social media. Drawing from my own experiences and the conversations I’ve had with clients, I share how powerful it can be to slow down, reflect, and truly acknowledge the progress you’ve made. You’ll learn: Why we often overlook our achievements and how to start celebrating them. The hidden cost of comparison and how to shift your focus inward. How reflection and journaling create clarity, gratitude, and self-trust. Why your only real measure of progress should be your past self. This episode is an invitation to pause, take stock of your growth, and recognize that you are already doing more than enough. Tune in now! Journal Prompts from this episode: Reflect on a recent achievement you minimized or skipped celebrating. How can you honor it now? Where are you comparing your progress to someone else’s, and how can you redirect that energy back to your own journey? What would change if you paused to appreciate your current season instead of rushing to the next milestone? Looking back six months or a year ago, what growth do you see in yourself today? How can you intentionally create space to celebrate small and large wins moving forward?

Episode 3 - The Power of Not Giving Up: Lessons Beyond Bodybuilding

Four weeks out from my bodybuilding competition, I was told I might not be ready for the stage. It would have been easy to step back, accept defeat, and call it a season. But deep down, I knew I hadn’t come this far to only come this far. In this episode of In Your Era, I share the pivotal moment when I chose to change direction instead of giving up. From switching coaches at the last minute to completely reworking my prep plan, this experience taught me powerful lessons about resilience, adaptability, and the importance of believing in yourself when challenges arise. You’ll hear: Why the “easy way out” often leads to long-term regret. How I found strength in discomfort and turned setbacks into opportunities. The importance of surrounding yourself with the right people during difficult seasons. Why resilience in fitness translates directly into growth in business, personal development, and life. This isn’t just about bodybuilding—it’s about life. Business, relationships, personal growth…whatever your “stage” is, you’re going to face those moments where quitting looks tempting. But if you stop right before the breakthrough, you’ll never know what was waiting on the other side. So, don't miss this episode. Listen now! Journal Prompts from this episode: Have you ever taken the “easy exit door” and regretted it later? Has there ever been a time in your life where you pushed through discomfort and actually achieved your goal? Are you currently working towards a goal and that easy exit door is lingering around and you're tempted to go through it? What are you going to do? Have you ever sat with uncomfortability and grown?

I share the real, raw truth about: Starting out with zero confidence and no idea what I was doing Navigating unhelpful nutrition advice and finding what really works How bodybuilding prep shaped me into a stronger, more resilient version of myself The lessons I’ve taken into my own coaching and why I do things differently for my clients This isn’t just about fitness, it’s about taking the leap, doing the thing you’ve been putting off, and proving to yourself that you can. Whether you’re starting your health journey, chasing a big dream, or just need a dose of inspiration to take action… this one’s for you. 🎧 Listen now and remember: The only person who needs to believe in you is you. Journal Prompts from this episode: What are you currently holding yourself back from out of fear? Is there something you really want to challenge yourself to do, but you're afraid you won't be able to achieve it? Are you letting the judgment or opinions of others hold you back from your true potential? If you could start that thing you really want to do tomorrow without having to worry about anyone or anything else, would you?
