<p>Africa has only 1% as many surgeons as the US. Yet, over 90% of injury deaths occur in LMICs. The importance of high-quality research that will strengthen Global Surgery towards improving timely access to quality surgical care world wide especially in LMICs cannot be overemphasized. &nbsp;</p> <p>More so, we received a plethora of questions from students and early career physicians interested in understanding the major concepts of Global Surgery and Global Surgery Research.
