Over-Thinking, Over-Analyzing, and Over-Generalizing, pop culture media. In this burgeoning podcast we take media that is generally regarded as trivial tripe and discuss the creators true aspirations.
Episode 2: The Alchemy of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu
Madison and Patrat use Dive to sink into the surprisingly deep alchemical symbolism of Pokemon: Detective Pikachu. Travels into the Fairy Realm, Mewtwo's mercurial analogies, and Bad Guy apotheosis await within! Plus, why is The Best Pokemon, Vaporeon, not in this movie? Are there Teenage Mutant Greninja Turtles? Did that guy just destroy a statue of God? And so much more!
Heads up: the audio on this one is pretty soft, so you're going to want to turn your speakers up so it's Loudred enough.
Special thanks goes out to Brad Egbert, who Jigglypuffed together some great music for us!

Episode 1: Gnostic Themes in Godzilla King of the Monsters
Join Stephen, Patrick and Madison as they talk about gnostic themes in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. Does Godzilla go on The Hero's Journey as written by Joseph Cambell? Is King Ghidorah a representation of Lucifer? Is Michael Dougherty a fan of Ancient Aliens?
We open the podcast with a not-so-brief synopsis of the movie. Listen if you want to hear our beautiful voices, but feel free to skip ahead 30-ish minutes if you'd like to get straight to the weird stuff.
