[…] And then, as an example, he brought an induction motor. So an induction motor is a system which is not static feedback linearizable, but is dynamic feedback linearizable. So it triggered my curiosity, and I started working into motors. And then, well, there's a very long story of collaborating with people from the motor area. And that was very exciting to see that these passivity concepts are universal. They apply to any physical system. So that's how I started with all this work. Was some of your prior experience in Russia useful in this respect when you started working with motors? Because you said at the beginning you also were acquainted with that subject already. […]
