Ahead of her mini sabbatical to walk the Camino de Santiago, Sasha interviews Tania about the trip: why now, what it takes to prepare, how much it actually costs, what she’s hoping it might shake loose creatively, and what she’s nervous about going in.
We talk about walking away for a minute, what rest can make room for, and the very specific fantasy of leaving your regular life with only a backpack and a plan.

Episode 21: The Odyssey was...fine?
We’re back!
After a little summer hiatus, we’re catching up on some of the movies everyone’s been talking about, from blockbusters to some of the most talked about smaller releases.
First up: The Odyssey. One of the most anticipated movies of the year, a huge cast, an even bigger director, and months of hype… but did it actually live up to all of that? We get into what worked and what didn’t for us (a lot). We’re also talking Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the brilliant The Invite, and The Drama, which we liked, even if it left us wanting a little more.
Reviews aren’t normally our thing on Indie Forever, and they won’t be a mainstay on the main pod as we’ll be back to talking craft and sitting down with more interesting indie artists in the weeks to come. In the meantime though, consider this episode a little taste of Sasha’s Reviews & Reccos, shorter bonus episodes full of rants and recommendations on movies, TV (yes, including reality TV), books, album releases and whatever else she’s loving, hating, or losing her mind over lately.
