[…] And so I became his technical SE while he was out there selling BD and what became an embedded software business. So I learned a ton. And as I was going through that, I transitioned from engineering to product management and then eventually into the business side and realized that I could use my technical background. But what I was really into was the art of storytelling and finding buyers, making buyers happy, solving problems in sort of the buying cycle as opposed to solving problems in the coding cycle. Got it. And so I've always kind of been in a technical oriented company where I can learn enough about the technology and the buyer community to be effective, but I'm not the guy writing code in the commercial software because that's just not my thing.
