About Inequity - European Conversations

INEQUITY is a European podcast born from the encounter between two young European voices. We grew up in a continent that promised peace, openness and prosperity. Yet today, Europe seems increasingly shaped by new divisions : inequality is growing, trust is fading, social pressures are intensifying, and uncertainty has become part of everyday life. What does it mean to live a dignified life in Europe today ? Is equity still an achievable goal ? How much do the country we are born in, the family we inherit, the opportunities we receive and the choices we make shape our lives ? Each episode begins with a question to explore our times through conversations that connect philosophy, society, economics, geopolitics and everyday life. INEQUITY seeks to understand not only how we live today, but how we could live better. We do not offer easy answers. We choose nuance over certainty, complexity over slogans, and dialogue over polarization. Because in a world that keeps accelerating, thinking together may already be a form of resistance. 🇬🇧 Welcome to Contemporary Superheroes : the new series of Inequity

Welcome to Contemporary Superhero, a new series from Inequity. No capes, no laser beams: our heroes have a single superpower, the power to say no. They refused what was forced on them and put their rights first, at the cost of their jobs, their freedom, sometimes their lives. Over the past hundred years, across Europe, they rewrote the rules. We tell the story of what it cost them, including their mistakes and contradictions, because a plaster saint never inspired anyone. A real person can. Who’s missing ? Tell us about someone who stood up for Europeans’ rights, famous or not, and if your pick becomes an episode, we’ll give you a shout-out. Next episode, 13 October: Roberto Saviano, twenty years under police protection. Inequity is a podcast that chooses to slow down. Two voices. Two European perspectives. A shared conviction: understanding is already a form of action. Don't forget to follow us, rate us and leave a review on your favorite listening platform ! Help us grow 🎙🇪🇺 Contemporary Superhero, Inequity podcast, European history, civil rights, Simone Veil, Rita Levi-Montalcini, Sophie Scholl, Roberto Saviano, human rights, Europe, courage, activism ----------------------------------------------- Find all the informations related to Inequity : on our Instagram account : @_inequity Feel free to write us here : inequity.media@gmail.com Or to leave us a vocal message to tell us about your experiences, your doubts, ask your questions or react to our episodes : https://www.speakpipe.com/Inequitypodcast Hosted on Acast.

Aiutateci a crescere 🎙🇪🇺 Contemporary Superhero, podcast Inequity, storia europea, diritti civili, Simone Veil, Rita Levi-Montalcini, Sophie Scholl, Roberto Saviano, diritti umani, Europa, coraggio, attivismo ----------------------------------------------- Find all the informations related to Inequity : on our Instagram account : @_inequity Feel free to write us here : inequity.media@gmail.com Or to leave us a vocal message to tell us about your experiences, your doubts, ask your questions or react to our episodes : https://www.speakpipe.com/Inequitypodcast Hosted on Acast.
