[…] So the federal government funds the provinces and territories to essentially manage their own health systems. So you sometimes hear and I sometimes say, We talked about the Canadian healthcare system, but there's really 13 plus different healthcare systems. So one for each province and territory. And then we do have some federally managed services as well. So things like veterans affairs or correctional populations are managed by the federal government. So because of that sort of federated decentralized model, you can imagine there's a complete lack of standardization. Each province and territory tends to do things a little bit differently. […]
