What Really Happened at Alexander Correctional? A Firsthand Account From Inside
The headlines reported that more than 60 incarcerated men at Alexander Correctional Institution refused orders to leave the recreation yard, an incident characterized publicly as a protest that resulted in a lockdown.But Jack, who says he was on the recreation yard that day, gives a very different account.In this exclusive Inmate Tea with A&P interview, Jack claims there was no organized protest and that the men were never given the opportunity to return inside.
