From a Dog's Mouth to a Cat's Stroller: The Black Cat Who Sparked a Global Rescue
What do carrots, crystals, and manifestation letters have in common? With a little love, they helped save her cat’s life.
Alex is a French animal rescuer now living in Canada, and the devoted mom to Tzatziki (Ziki for short)—a black female kitty who was rescued from a dog's mouth in Greece. Ziki didn't just survive that moment: she inspired Alex to co-found Saaving Lives, a TNR and animal rescue that is "saaving the world one animal at a time." 🌍
In this episode, Alex and I reflect on our year-long journey together through pet readings and somatic healing sessions that transformed her relationship with pet anxiety and guilt, giving her the confidence to fly Ziki across the Atlantic Ocean with ease, and how she went from hiding her cat from a landlord to proudly strolling her soul cat through the neighborhood.
We dive into Ziki's health challenges (including a near-fatal parvovirus diagnosis) and the miraculous story of how Alex refused to say goodbye and manifested her cat's survival. 🥕💎📜
Plus, you'll hear the intuitive messages Ziki shared: proof that your soul pet is paying attention to your heart's desires (and maybe even your roommate's too!) In our rapid fire round, Alex reveals the simple mantra that brings her peace of mind every time she leaves Ziki at home.
This episode is a love letter to the moms who hide their cats from their landlords and a reminder that one act of love can have a global impact. 🖤

Meant to Meet: A Story of Soul Pets & Donor Siblings
Melody is a Virginia-based pet parent to Phiz—a scruffy mutt who keeps track of the family—and Margay, a fun-loving, social tabby who rules the neighborhood. 🐶🐱
She joins Inner Wild to reflect on shifting dynamics since the birth of her human son—and how intuitive parenting is sharpening in new ways. We touch on ancestry and her recent, joy-filled experience meeting her “dibling” (donor sibling) in person for the first time. 💌
We talk about early losses, including one family dog who visited her in dreams after his passing, and how her family learned to grieve together. 🕊️Melody also shares what it’s like working at the very middle school she once attended—and the yearbook moment that revealed she may have manifested Phiz long before they ever met. 📸
From navigating indoor-outdoor cat decisions to honoring the real (and sometimes controversial) fears parents face when bringing home babies to pets—this episode is a reminder that your gut knows and your pets are no accident.

Guarded by Garlic: A Black Soul Cat Story
Caylee is a Los Angeles-based cat mom to Garlic—her sensitive shadow.🧄🐈⬛ A stunning photographer and resilient pole dancer, Caylee joins Inner Wild for a synchronistic chat about rescuing animals, expanding pain thresholds, and having more fun.💃🏻
Originally from Maui, she reflects on her mom’s animal-loving legacy and the “misfit” rescues that shaped her childhood.🌺🐓 We talk about how Kundalini yoga supported her spiritual journey—and how Garlic, along with the move out of New York, has invited softness.
You’ll also hear sweet takeaways from Garlic’s pet reading, like how she’s been tuning into conversations about adding a dog to the family (spoiler: she suggested a dog that looks like her🤭).
Here’s your tender invite to open your heart to black cats—too often overlooked or mistreated, yet full of loyal love.🖤

The Princess & The Health Detective: A Story of Two Soul Cats
Chloe is a Los Angeles-based cat mom to Simba and Birdie—two soul cats she sees as yin and yang. As a twin herself, Chloe shares how their opposite-yet-connected personalities mirror her own dynamic with her twin sister.☯️
In this episode, we talk about working in reality TV and the drama detox her cats provide. We reminisce about the cats that shaped her life—including a terminally ill kitten with FIP and a childhood cat who slept on her head like a “spiritual beanie.” Chloe also opens up about her intuitive gifts, like sensing her brother’s car accident and sharing a calm knowing with her mom that he would be okay.❤️
We share stories from the pet reading I did with Simba and Birdie prior—like Simba’s role as a health detector (he even hinted at a friend's pregnancy before she knew), and Birdie’s makeup-brush-loving, princess energy that keeps Chloe accountable for self-care.🧖🏼♀️
This conversation touches on energetic boundaries, listening to intuitive nudges, and the animals who remind us that home isn’t a place—it’s you.

A Note on Sacred Land & Cultural Respect:In this episode, Chloe briefly shares a personal story involving her childhood home, which she mentioned was built on an “Indian burial ground.” I wholeheartedly honor her experience; it also feels important to clarify that the intention is not to perpetuate the idea of “cursed” burial grounds—a harmful stereotype that misrepresents Indigenous beliefs.
Most Indigenous communities view burial sites as sacred, not sinister. Just as Chloe reflects on the importance of asking our animals what they distinctly need, we’re reminded of the same when it comes to the land and Native peoples: deepening our relationships starts with listening and showing respect.

The 5-Year Search for Her Black Dog Protector: A Chineranian Soul Pet Story
Komal joins the show to talk about her 8 y/o Chineranian pup, Oreo! On the 8th episode, we share our mutual enchantment with numerology, tree hugging, and the impactful—but brief—connections we’ve had with pets who departed too soon (RIP childhood festival fish).
We explore her Indian heritage and the cultural belief that black dogs are protectors, and how her years long search for one ended the moment she laid eyes on Oreo.🖤
Komal also shares how the least talked about method in her grad program—Internal Family Systems—has been a game changer in her healing. We talk about the importance of releasing grief from the body, standing in your feminine power, and we giggle over Oreo’s nosiness in the pet reading we did beforehand. Plus, I get Komal’s honest take on... dog cloning. 😯

I Adopted a Cat—Then Everything Changed: My Animal Communication Story
In this solo episode, I’m sharing more of my own soul pet story—how a cat named Cloud, born the day after my birthday during a global pandemic, unknowingly led me to my calling as an animal communicator. Although I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, this isn’t a Hollywood tale of growing up talking to trees or knowing I’d work with animals since age five. It’s a story about synchronicity, free will, and the spiritual breadcrumbs that eventually lead us home. From my early days in film school to a heart-opening therapy session, I unpack how the universe nudged me back to what I love.
You’ll hear about the moment I said yes to this path, the signs that kept showing up, and a pet reading that changed everything.🩶🐈⬛ This one’s for the wizards and witches out there who are still waiting for your letter to Hogwarts—those of you learning to trust your magic, listen to your heart, and follow the signs.
