Innovate at UL meets Dr Russell Greaney of Aerogen
<p>Dr Russell Greaney is the Associate Director of Core Development at Aerogen in Galway. He discusses the valuable collaborations between Aerogen and the University of Limerick (UL). This partnership played a key role in helping Aerogen build in-house expertise in aerosol drug delivery. UL provided important research input and access to specialised knowledge at a critical time, and Aerogen has since taken that foundation and expanded and advanced the technology. The result is the Solo II nebuliser—now recognised globally and proven to be significantly more efficient than its closest competitor.
