Clinicians are trying to align care with individual patient needs for the approximately eight million American adults and over 125 million people worldwide living with psoriasis.1 In the ENCOMPASS study’s US arm, researchers examined treatment experiences, satisfaction, and perceptions of therapies through quantitative surveys and qualitative interviews.2 Dr. Mona Shahriari sits down with Dr. Linda Stein Gold and Dr. Jennifer Soung to share their key findings from this dataset and their implications for providing patient-centered care in psoriasis. Dr. Shahriari is an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Connecticut, and she serves as the Associate Director of Clinical Trials and co-founder of Central Connecticut Dermatology. Dr. Stein Gold is the Director of Dermatology Clinical Research for the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit as well as the Division Head of Dermatology at Henry Ford in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Dr. Soung is the Founder and Director of Clinical Research at Southern California Dermatology in Santa Ana, and she serves on the clinical faculty at the University of California Los Angeles Harbor Medical Center.

Agitation in Alzheimer’s Dementia: From Expert Consensus to Clinical Practice

Nearly half of patients living with dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease will experience agitation during the course of illness.1 In June 2025, expert panel recommendations on identifying and managing agitation in Alzheimer’s dementia were published in Postgraduate Medicine. Learn more about these recommendations as Dr. Charles Turck, Dr. George Grossberg, and Dr. Angela Sanford explore how clinicians can implement them in practice.
