奨学生に聞いた震災の状況
《vol.33》<br /> 前回お伝えしたように、ミンダナオ島では昨年10月、マグニチュード（M）6超の大きな地震が相次いで発生しました。その後も同クラスの地震が続いています。<br /> MCLの奨学生やスタッフは避難所へ出向いての支援活動を行っていますが、そんな中にも家族が被災した奨学生がいます。10月31日の地震（M6.5）で土砂崩れが発生し、全村民が村外に避難しているというマキララ町バランガイ・バト（バト村）出身のアナミーさんもその一人です。<br /> 今回はアナミーさんに、家族や避難所の様子を聞きました。<br />

戦闘避難民への緊急支援に駆け付けた奨学生たちの声
《vol.31》<br /> ピキットで8月初め、イスラム国（IS）とフィリピン国軍による戦闘が発生しました。<br /> これにより、戦闘地域を流れるプランギ川対岸から600世帯以上がパイドゥ・プランギ地区に避難しているとの情報がピキット福祉局に勤務するMCL理事のグレイスさんから寄せられ、MCLは直ちに戦闘避難民への緊急支援を決定。8月4日と17日の2回、ビニルシートや日本から支援物資として届けられた古着などを携え、避難所へ向かいました。<br /> この支援活動に参加した奨学生のノルハイナさん（ムスリム）、ベビタカさん（カトリック）、エルミーさん（精霊信仰のマノボ族）の3人に話を聴きました。<br /> ＊ベビタカさん、エルミーさんの話に出てくる「バンサモロ基本法」とは、ミンダナオ島にイスラム教徒による自治政府の樹立を認める法律で、2018年7月26日、ドゥテルテ大統領が署名し成立した。<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
