[…] So it was kind of a no brainer. But during a set, what I'll tend to do is I don't have a set set list. So in other words, we sometimes start with the same tune a lot of times called The Village, which is kind of a warm-up tune. And then I go from there. And I kind of gauge what I want to play depending on my feeling and how I'm balancing the reaction with the audience and how the band is. And I might point to one of the guys and say, okay, you solo here now. And usually they don't solo in that position. So I'll keep... myself fresh and i'll keep the band fresh by keeping the set open so the arrangements overall have a responsibility to the music and the melody and the harmony and the rhythm and there's certain things that have to be in the tune but then i constantly am changing things up to keep myself fresh and the band fresh So everyone has to kind of, unfortunately, keep their eye on me all the time because I'm always twisting the arrangement internally as we're playing.
