Ep 17: Relic & Light
Eve comes home to a locked door and a family that still hasn't left. When she heads into the attic to find tire chains, she finds a lot more than she bargained for. There's a dog kennel that tells a story across three different sections of the book, a box of belongings that might rewrite everything we think we know about Charlie, and a cloud of red dust that sent me down a rabbit hole into one of the most obscure and unsettling fungal species in European buildings. I make my case for what's growing in Eve's house, why it parallels Old House in ways that can't be coincidental, and why by the time you notice it, it's already too late. Also, something is in the attic with her, and it's not Jenny.

Ep 16 Part 2: A04_HOAX
Picking up right where Part One left off, this time we're getting into biology. A species of ant that shouldn't exist leads me to a real 19th-century scientist who named his home The Ant Colony, experimented on both ants and asylum patients, and has pretty creepy parallels to the Old House Universe. After that, we go through every Old House term and definition from the document, and at the very end, I break down the book codes and the secret message hidden in the text. If you don't want the codes spoiled, I'll warn you before we get there.
