Payroll does not automatically mean you're winning in baseball. That's why I don't understand that whole salary cap. You want to figure something out. Teams can win or compete. It wasn't that long ago. The Kansas City Royals won a World Series 2015. It's 11 years ago, not 40 years ago, and nobody with a low payroll can't win. Really, 11 years? It's not that long.
