James "Papa Het" Hetfield
METALLICA! The second greatest rock band EVER! Whose number one, ummmmm Led Zeppelin. FACT!!!!!! As with Cornell, I was supposed to interview Lars. And to my delight, Papa Het walked in the room. We started a little rough, but once he realized I was a fan, the whole thing changed. What was supposed to be 10 ,imuts turned into about twenty. He even did ID's for the entire air staff, and he loved doing the open's for Metallica Alphabetica!!!!!!! Thats where we played every single Metallica song in alphabetical order. He thought WCCC was the greatest radio station he had ever heard of. And he was right..........

One of my favorite interviews with him. I've interviewed him with, A Perfect Circle, Pucifer, and wine stuff, but when he talks about TOOL he gets on a trip. 10,000 Days was the subject. And some think he's a little bit of a prick, but I will tell you he is one of my favorites to interview. Really no one more honest and even loving. Sometimes.......</p>
