[…] So they're always working on, you know, dappled light over the clusters protection. We're not going back to the 80s or something where you get California sprawl and everything's tucked under. We want exposure, but it is a dance. Not stripping laterals out. Maybe you prune them to keep that leaf surface area on the vine. And Stephanie, they talk about vines and leaves like they've got a whole other language for it. I'm a guest in the vineyard. We all work together, but I'd say that the way they look at dappled light across that whole area, their nuance of language gets way bigger than mine. And I do think that that's like a big piece of modern grape growing or winemaking is it was romantic to think that one of us could you can specialize in all of it. […]
