Welcome to today’s devotional. Today’s reflection and prayer is: “Building Unshakable Faith.”
Romans 10:17 tells us, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.”
Faith doesn't become strong simply because we want it to. Faith grows when we continually fill our hearts and minds with God's Word.
David and Goliath – Faith Built Before the Battle
When David stood before Goliath in 1 Samuel 17, everyone else saw an impossible giant. David saw a God who had already proved Himself faithful.
David remembered how God had helped him protect his sheep from the lion and the bear. Those previous experiences had built confidence in God.
So when Goliath threatened him, David declared that the same God who had delivered him before would deliver him again.
David's faith wasn't suddenly created on the battlefield. It had been developing long before the giant appeared.
The same is true for us.
We cannot wait until trouble comes before building our faith. We strengthen faith daily through Scripture, prayer, worship and remembering God's faithfulness.
When God's Word becomes louder in our hearts than the fear around us, our perspective changes.

Walking by Faith Not by Sight
There are moments when what we see doesn't match what we believe God has promised. The answer hasn't come, the door hasn't opened, and the situation seems unchanged.
This is where faith becomes real.
Think about Abraham. God promised him that he would become the father of many nations, yet for years Abraham and Sarah remained without the promised child. Humanly speaking, time seemed to be running out. But Abraham continued learning to trust the God who had spoken.
Faith doesn't mean ignoring reality. It means believing that our present circumstances are not greater than God's power and purpose.
Sometimes God shows us the destination without revealing every step of the journey. We want the whole map, but God may simply say, “Trust Me with the next step.”
Perhaps you're praying for your family, waiting for an opportunity, believing for a breakthrough or facing an uncertain future. Don't allow what you see today to determine what you believe about tomorrow.
Keep praying. Keep obeying. Keep trusting

Leaving the Old Behind
There is a story about a traveller who reached a long, steep hill carrying several heavy bags. As he climbed, he grew exhausted. A passer-by asked, “Why don’t you put some of those bags down?” The traveller responded, “I’ve carried them this far—I might as well keep going.”
