The investigation revealed heart-wrenching videos of the abuse captured by surveillance cameras in the home. The failure of the child protective services to intervene and protect Adrian was evident, with numerous calls made by concerned citizens reporting the abuse. Adrian's extended family had lost contact with him, and the system failed to keep track of his case as his parents moved between Kansas and Missouri.</p><p>Deb and MaryAnne discuss the need for change in the child welfare system and the importance of advocating for the protection of children. We also also discuss the shortcomings of Adrian's Law and the efforts to improve it.
