Jamie Bucirde is a trailblazing sexologist who has made a huge impact in her local city of Adelaide, creating massive reform and progress, especially in the hospitality industry. Josh chats with Jamie about sexology – it can be a slightly “mysterious” topic to those who aren’t familiar with it – and dives into her important work that despite the name, it is not very sexy. On the back of Jamie’s success through her consultancy On the Cusp and the 'Not So Hospitable' project in Adelaide, Jamie is now looking to make impacts nationally and after hearing this episode, you’ll be backing her in to do just that. Through the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards in South Australia, Jamie was named 2024 winner of the University Senior College Create Change Award and was also the 2024 SA Young Achiever of the Year.

It is having the privilege to be a part of someone else’s journey in creating their memorable occasion. “When you look at my collection you need to live the idea that together we have created a story”. Lucy has partnered with the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards for 3 years now and we hear about some of the amazing young achievers that Lucy has dressed, as well as some top tips for looking your best at an awards night, charity ball or any of life’s special moments where you want to dress to impress.
