When eternity shapes your perspective, it changes the way you live today.
In Season 2, Episode 145 of Intentional Living by Design, we focus on what it means to live with an eternal focus. In a world that constantly pulls our attention toward temporary success, possessions, recognition, and immediate results, God calls us to fix our hearts on what will last. An eternal perspective helps us see our time, choices, relationships, and purpose through the lens of God’s Kingdom.
In this episode, we’ll explore what Scripture teaches about setting our minds on things above, storing up treasures in heaven, and investing our lives in what carries eternal significance. We’ll examine how an eternal focus can reshape our priorities, influence our decisions, and give deeper meaning to even the ordinary moments of life.
You’ll be encouraged to consider what is receiving the greatest investment of your time, energy, and attention—and whether those things are aligned with what matters most to God. Living with eternity in mind does not mean ignoring the responsibilities of today; it means living today with a greater purpose.
If you’ve been distracted by temporary pressures, chasing things that never seem to satisfy, or wondering whether your life is making a lasting difference, this episode will remind you to lift your eyes beyond the present moment. When you live with eternal focus, you begin to invest your life in what will matter long after everything temporary has passed away.

Trusting God With Everything
Trusting God with part of your life is one thing—trusting Him with everything is where complete surrender begins.
In Season 2, Episode 144 of Intentional Living by Design, we focus on what it truly means to trust God with everything. It is often easy to surrender the areas where we feel confident in God’s plan while holding tightly to the places where fear, uncertainty, or past disappointment still have influence. But God invites us into a deeper kind of trust—one that places every part of our lives fully into His hands.
In this episode, we’ll explore what Scripture teaches about wholehearted trust and surrendering our plans, relationships, finances, future, fears, dreams, and unanswered questions to God. We’ll examine why holding onto control can keep us anxious and spiritually divided, and how releasing control allows us to experience greater peace, freedom, and confidence in God’s faithfulness.
You’ll be encouraged to identify the areas of your life you may still be trying to manage without God and to take intentional steps toward complete surrender. Trusting God with everything does not mean you will always understand what He is doing—it means believing that His character is trustworthy even when the path ahead is unclear.
If you’ve been carrying the weight of trying to control every outcome, this episode will remind you that you were never meant to carry your life alone. You can place everything in God’s hands—your past, your present, and your future—and trust that the One who holds you is faithful.

Kingdom Over Comfort
Following Jesus will sometimes require choosing obedience over ease, purpose over preference, and God’s Kingdom over personal comfort.
In Season 2, Episode 143 of Intentional Living by Design, we focus on the challenging but transformative choice of Kingdom over comfort. Comfort itself is not wrong, but when protecting our comfort becomes more important than following God, it can keep us from growing, serving, obeying, and stepping into the assignments He has prepared for us.
In this episode, we’ll explore what Scripture teaches about surrender, sacrifice, and the cost of following Jesus. We’ll examine how the desire to stay comfortable can quietly limit our faith and how God often calls us beyond what feels familiar, convenient, or safe in order to accomplish His greater purposes.
You’ll be encouraged to identify the areas where comfort may be competing with obedience and to trust God when His direction requires courage, sacrifice, or change. Choosing the Kingdom does not always mean choosing the easiest path—but it means choosing the path that carries eternal purpose.
If you’ve been sensing God calling you beyond your comfort zone, this episode will remind you that the safest place for your life is not always the most comfortable one—it is the place of surrender and obedience to God. When you choose Kingdom over comfort, you make room for God to do more in you and through you than comfort ever could.
