The official Inter podcast. Stories, chats, updates, insights, fun facts, interviews: each week there are new shows and exclusive content for all you need to know Inter figures past and present.
In this special pre-international break edition of the Official Inter Podcast in English, Richard Hall @RichHall80 looks back at an emotional and extraordinary weekend for the Nerazzurri.
We begin at the Stadio Olimpico with a full analysis of Roma 2-2 Inter, a game that seemed to contain two completely different Inter performances. After a difficult opening half left Cristian Chivu's side two goals behind, captain Lautaro Martínez inspired another remarkable comeback.
Richard looks beyond the result to examine Inter's recurring slow starts, problems with defensive balance and the influence of Hakan Çalhanoğlu, while asking whether repeatedly relying on comebacks is sustainable.
The heart of this episode, however, belongs to Sandro Mazzola.
Following the passing of one of the greatest figures in Inter's history, we celebrate the life and career of a man who became synonymous with the Nerazzurri. From growing up in the shadow of his legendary father Valentino and the tragedy of Superga to Helenio Herrera's Grande Inter, European Cup glory against Real Madrid, his partnership with Luis Suárez and the famous Mazzola-Rivera debate with Italy, this is our tribute to a true Inter icon.
Finally, we look ahead to the international break and the Inter players representing their countries, including the surprise Spain call-up for goalkeeper Josep Martínez.
Roma, the Azzurri and the international Nerazzurri – but above all, an episode dedicated to one of Inter's immortals.

WE NEVER SAY DIE
Inter never seem to do things the easy way – and perhaps we wouldn't want it any other way.
In this episode of the Official Inter Podcast in English, Richard Hall (@RichHall80) looks beyond the scoreline of an extraordinary 5-3 victory over Udinese at San Siro. For the second Serie A game in succession, the Nerazzurri found themselves 2-0 down – and for the second time, they came back to win.
But what does that tell us about Cristian Chivu's Inter?
Richard analyses a team becoming increasingly aggressive in possession, committing more players forward and looking to win the ball back immediately. There is risk, certainly, but there is also an Inter side creating chances at an incredible rate. We look at Nicolò Barella's influence, the growing importance of Francesco Pio Esposito, how his presence can release Marcus Thuram, and the attacking options now available to Chivu.
Attention then turns to the Stadio Olimpico, where Inter face Gian Piero Gasperini's unbeaten Roma. Two perfect Serie A records collide in what could be the first major tactical examination of Inter's domestic season. Where will the game be won, and can Inter's aggressive approach survive against a side capable of exploiting the spaces it leaves behind?
Finally, we travel back 25 years to September 2001 and the beginning of a very special Inter story: Adriano's first Nerazzurri goal against Venezia. A teenager, a pass from Clarence Seedorf and that left foot.
Before L'Imperatore, there was this.
