Felisa Salmerón volvió a su país de origen (México) donde, después de muchos años de estudiar en grandes instituciones extranjeras, como la Universidad de Washington bajo la tutela de Helen Callus y el Conservatorio de Amberes (Bélgica) con Leo De Neve, se propone una misión - conseguir que se respete la viola. Hoy, Felisa es viola principal en dos orquestas, sujeto de inspiración para la composición de nuevas obras para viola y una profesora muy querida por su comunidad.
