Entwicklung der Freizeitreiterei: Bruns, Ponys und der Immenhof
In Deutschland kennen sie fast alle, die heile Immenhofwelt, die erstmals in den 1950ern über die Leinwand flimmerte. Dass hinter den Filmen aber weitaus mehr steckt, als Ponyhofidylle und „Trippel Trappel Pony“, das ist schon Wenigeren geläufig. Wir sprechen diesmal deshalb über die Frau, der wir nicht nur die Buchvorlage „Dick & Dalli und die Ponys“ zu verdanken haben, sondern auch den Siegeszug der Islandpferde im Deutschland der Nachkriegszeit. Und natürlich über das Jugendbuch selbst, welches doch so ganz anders ist, als die Filme, die ihm folgten.

Manuelle Therapieformen: Physio und Co.
Es ist ein weites Feld: Phyiso, Osteo, Chiro und Co. So viele Experten, die alle in ihrer eigenen Technik und mit dem eigenen Schwerpunkt manuell am Pferd arbeiten. Aber was steckt eigentlich dahinter? Und wann brauche ich einen Therapeuten an meinem Pferd? Aufmerksame Hörer wissen es außerdem bereits: Johanna hat in den letzten 1,5 Jahren Fortbildungen zum Thema Physiotherapie und Osteopathie am Pferd gemacht. In dieser Folge widmen wir uns einiger Fragen, die uns in diesem Kontext erreicht haben und sprechen darüber wie sich die verschiedenen Therapieformen unterscheiden. Wir haben versucht dabei nicht in anatomische Exkurse abzuschweifen, damit es leicht verständlich bleibt!

Sattelzwang und Gurtzwang
„Ach der beißt immer in den Anbinder beim Gurten“ – „Nie steht der still beim Satteln!“ – „Die zwickt immer bisschen beim Nachgurten“ Vielleicht sind euch solche Aussagen schon das eine oder andere Mal untergekommen. Gerne wird Sattelzwang und Gurtzwang nämlich verharmlost, besonders wenn er nur in einer milden Form vorliegt. Nicht zuletzt deshalb beschäftigen wir uns in dieser Folge mit diesem pferdischen „Problemverhalten. Was hat es damit auf sich? Was kann man zur Prophylaxe tun? Damit das Satteln so angenehm wird, wie auf dem Folgenbild!
