Vukašin arrived in Ireland as a refugee and has gone on to document the controversial Irish direct provision system which has seen thousands of people housed in so-called temporary accommodation, sometimes for years, as they await a decision on whether or not they have permission to remain in the country. </p> <p>Vukašin is an artist, activist and independent scholar.
