Viele Jahre vor der Veröffentlichung von Waloddi Weibull hatten andere dieselbe Verteilung unter "Rosin-Rammler-" oder RRSB-Verteilung beschrieben. In dieser Folge werden Anwendungsbeispiele für die Weibull-Verteilung beschrieben und Methoden vorgestellt, mit denen Ausfallsteilheit und charakteristische Lebensdauer sowie weitere Kenngrößen ermittelt werden.
