Miricalls
Würde es einen Preis für Sympathie geben, Miri würde definitiv ein verdienen. In Leonberg geboren, lebt sie seit 3 Jahren in Stuttgart und macht als „Miricalls“ Musik, die einfach Laune macht. Pop mit Message würde ich den Stil mal spontan beschreiben. „Sei du selbst“ ist ein Motto, das der früheren Erzieherin besonders wichtig ist und so gibt’s in dieser Folge neben toller Musik und überraschenden Antworten auf total sinnfreie Frage auch genügend, wie man im 21. Jahrhundert sagt um cool zu wirken, „Realtalk“. Über die Social Media Blase, Heimat, Radio und eben wie wir es schaffen, die beste Version von uns selbst zu sein. Eine meiner Lieblingsfolgen. „Junge, frische, authentische Musik fernab vom Mainstream!“ Das schreibt jemand im Netz zu Jante und ganz ehrlich: Besser könnt ichs auch nicht beschreiben. Also lass ichs lieber gleich. Unterhalten hab ich mich schon vor der ganzen Corona Sache mit Jan und Tim, zwei der 4 Jante-Member, aufgrund eines schwerwiegenden WLAN Kabel Problems hört ihr die Folge erst jetzt. Gesprochen haben wir unter anderem über die neue Platte, wie die Songs, die ihr in den nächsten Minuten natürlich auch kennenlernt, entstehen, es ging um Straßenmusik in Irland, Ihre Powerfrau an den Drums und ohne welche Band es IHRE wohl nie gegeben hätte. Und weil Jan und Tim den weiten Weg von Leipzig nach Stuttgart natürlich nicht ohne Gitarre und Banjo angetreten haben, gibt’s sogar noch Livemusik. 3 musikbegeisterte Typen in einer Folge „Irgendwas mit Musik“. Verrückt.

„Der Mann, der gerne Streifen trägt.“ – steht in so gut wie jedem Interview über Toni! Beim Besuch hier im Studio trägt er die ganz undercover unter dem Pullover. Im Geheimen ist der Singer-Songwriter, der mittlerweile in Fellbach bei Stuttgart lebt, aber schon lang nicht mehr unterwegs. 2019 war er auf Deutschlandtour wo er seine preisgekrönte Musik auch live präsentieren durfte. Warum er keine Karriere als Tik-Tok-Star angeht, ihn schon eine Woche daheim an den Rand der Verzweiflung bringt und er bei Videodrehs nassgespritzt wird, das hat er mir in der aktuellen Folge verraten.
