Welcome to our podcast series!!! We are so excited to have this space for authentic, honest and Christ led conversation. Our anchor scripture for this series is 1 Peter 2:5 “Come and be His living stones who are continually being assembled into a sanctuary for God.
Here at iRise Youth we believe one of the best ways to do this is through fellowship with one another. Our hope and prayer for everyone who joins in our discussions is that they will help you on your journey in building the blocks you need
The sermon explores the concept of divine empowerment, teaching that the "Hand of God" provides the "grace for the race" and the process of fulfilling God's promises. Using the biblical example of Elijah outrunning King Ahab’s chariot, Pastor Mercy illustrates that when God's hand is upon someone, they can achieve what is humanly impossible through supernatural speed and strength

Season 2 Episode 5: Strength Like No Other- Ife Adenle
This sermon emphasizes the necessity of shifting from a posture of unbelief and weariness to a posture of unwavering trust to achieve spiritual victory over life's trials. By examining the vulnerability of Elijah and Moses, the speaker illustrates how even faithful servants can be overwhelmed by sorrow and pressure, creating a temptation to give up on God's faithfulness. We are encouraged to be active Christians by engaging in spiritual transactions through prayer and firing bold confessions of scripture to maintain a position of divine strength.

Season 2 Episode 3: Locked In and Translators of His Glory- Georgina Ukponzene
This sermon emphasizes the necessity of shifting from a vulnerability to the enemy's infiltration to a posture of being "locked in" to God's purpose as "translators of His glory". The enemy seeks "common ground", such as greed, unbridled desire, or the "wrong healing" of trauma to establish a foothold in an individual's life
Ultimately, believers are called to move beyond merely speaking a message to embodying the gospel through total submission to God's lordship, allowing His signature to be woven back into the fabric of society

Episode 1: The King's Invite: Are You Aligned? - Pastor Mercy Adenle
This message uses the Parable of the Wedding Feast (Matthew 22:1-14) to challenge us on how we respond to God's call.
We explore:
The King's Feast: God has prepared everything—all things are ready (v. 4). Why do we treat His invitation with contempt and go our own way?
The Danger of Levity: Distractions, ungratefulness, and a complaining spirit pull us out of alignment with God. We're called to shift our focus and let our gratitude be more than our requests (Philippians 4:6).
Obedience and Garment: Coming to the feast isn't enough; we must honor the King by being rightly attired. This means putting off the old, corrupt way of life and putting on the new man of righteousness and purity (Ephesians 4:22-24).
The Call to COME: This is an invite to Choose God, walk in Obedience, Meet the King, and be Elevated. God is a righteous Judge who wants us anchored, like a palm tree, standing firm in His justice and truth (Isaiah 28:16-17).
Many are called, but few are chosen. Are you ready to not just accept the invitation, but to stay aligned with the King's terms?
