Podcast Overview

Welcome to "Is This Life?"—a podcast by SloFlo. Where We talk to Gen-Z's about their current life experiences and how they're coping with life's many challenges. Is this really all there is to life? Does our existence amount to nothing more than making a living, enduring the daily grind, chasing promotions, possibly getting married, maybe having kids, growing old, and fading away? Even this scenario, by today's standards, would be considered a good life for most. With climate change looming, property prices soaring, authoritarian governments rising, jobs becoming scarce, and inequality growing—how does one navigate life? And that's not even considering our internal struggles: growing up with emotionally unavailable parents, childhood trauma, anxiety about the future, the struggle to get out of bed, endless doom-scrolling, overstimulation, toxic relationships, social media comparisons, and loneliness. The list goes on. It often feels like we're surrounded by problems, both in the world around us and within ourselves. It's easy to feel gloomy when dwelling on all this. But look closer, and you'll find a silver lining—we're all in this together! Our sufferings aren't ours alone. Talk to any stranger, scratch the surface, and you'll realize your problems are shared by many. This is exactly what we explore in "Is This Life?"—a podcast featuring candid, real conversations with Gen-Z's. They open their hearts as we delve into their lives and how they're feeling about it all. Join us to hear stories that may soon feel familiar and, in the process, perhaps lighten your own load a bit. See you in the podcast!
