İmam Taberi Muhammed B. Cerir - İslam Alimleri 21. Bölüm
İslam alemi ve Müslümanlar açısından çok büyük öneme sahip olan Camiul Beyan ve Tarihu'l Ümem Ve'l Mülük adlı eserleriyle bilinen büyük tefsir, hadis, tarih ve fıkıh alimidir İmam Taberi. Asıl adı Ebû Ca'fer Muhammed b. Cerîr b. Yezîd el-Âmülî et-Taberî el-Bağdâdî'dir. Hicri 224 yılı sonunda veya 225 yılı başında miladi 839 yılında Taberistanın merkezi Amülde doğdu. Babası Cerir çiftçilikle uğraşırdı. Bir gece rüyasında oğlunun büyük bir alim olacağını gördü. Bu rüyadan sonra oğlunun yetişmesi için büyük çaba harcadı. Ayrıca ilim hayatı boyunca maddi sıkıntı yaşamaması için kendisine gelir getirecek araziler bıraktı. Taberi ilk öğrenimine memleketi Amülde hafızlık yaparak ve hadisle ilgilenerek başladı.
