Four Stories – Readings from the Island Boy Public Journal

Hi! I’m Justin Shaw, and this is my public journal. This is a project I began during the Summer of 2020 and is designed to help me connect to communities – because no person should be an island unto themselves. This recording features four (four!) entries from my public journal and features tales about homesickness, horses, fiddle music, and Air Miles points. Big thank you to editors Benton Hartley and Dave Stewart from their help keeping me on track with what I have to say. This recording also features music by Fiddlers Sons, a Prince Edward Island band that creates music that I feel helps lift the words off the page. Happy listening!

The Secret Language – by Justin Shaw, edited by Dave Stewart, published July 13.
