In John 15:1-11, Jesus teaches that he is the true vine and his followers are the branches. Real faith is not merely knowing about Jesus, attending church, or being near spiritual things. Real faith abides in Christ. As believers remain connected to Jesus through his Word, obedience, love, and dependence on him, his life begins to produce fruit in them. This sermon calls us to examine what our lives are producing, turn from the bad fruit of sin, and look to Jesus, the true vine, who gives life to dead sinners and produces lasting fruit in those who trust him.
Real faith does not merely know about Jesus. Real faith abides in Jesus.

Romans 12:1-2 – Living A Life Of Worship
Real faith does not reduce worship to singing, church attendance, or a Sunday morning feeling. In Romans 12:1-2, Paul shows that true worship is a whole-life response to the mercy God has shown us in Christ. Because Jesus gave himself for us, Christians are called to offer their bodies, minds, habits, choices, and daily lives back to God. This kind of worship requires both renewing our minds with God’s truth and guarding our minds from the patterns of the world. Real faith seeks to worship Jesus not just for one hour on Sunday, but with all of life.
Real faith does not just worship Jesus for an hour on Sunday. Real faith seeks to worship Jesus with all of life.

Matthew 4:18-22 – Real Faith Follows
Real faith is not merely saying the right words, praying a prayer, or attending church occasionally. Real faith produces real evidence because it comes from a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ. In Matthew 4:18–22, Jesus calls his first disciples with the simple command, “Follow me,” showing that true discipleship involves both action and direction. To follow Jesus means obeying what he says, listening to his Word, and loving him above everything else. While Christians will never obey perfectly, there is a real difference between imperfect obedience and no desire to obey at all. This sermon challenges us to get into the Word of God, search our lives for idols, and intentionally seek to honor Jesus in every area of life.
Your best life is lived in Jesus’ shadow, following after him.
