<p>Mastering a language takes a lot of time and effort, especially for someone who isn't born in an English speaking country. This is true for Ms. Inna Figotina, an ESL/FSL teacher who taught in Taipei for a few years.</p> <p><br></p> <p>In this episode, we talk about her starting point as a citizen of Russia, and how migrating to Canada made her fall in love with languages. We also talked about her experience teaching in Taipei, and the uniqueness of their curriculum. We also shared a few perspectives in the difficulty of helping kids and adults. <p>Work from home is the most ideal setting for many freelancers, businesspersons and employees nowadays. This is also the case of Keanu Sarmiento, a former ESL teacher helping clients in China and Japan. In this episode, we talked about how we ended up being in the ESL industry serving clients at home. We also tackled about dealing with kids with little to no participation, and some steps we had to go through when we were still applying for a job as ESL teachers.
