This week on Year of THE Cow, we’re following the money: from Middle East oil routes to the gas pump, from tariff arguments to your receipt, and from a “free” phone upgrade to a bill that somehow needs financing. Welcome to adulthood, where every discount comes with a monthly payment.
We’re talking Trump, Iran, the Federal Reserve, and why I’m buying stocks carefully instead of treating every red candle like a clearance sale. We also revisit the Lindsay Clancy case, with a harder question about how we discuss tragedy when everyone online already thinks they’re the judge and the jury.
Then it’s back to my actual problems: truck payments, parking lot idiots, fuel rewards, rookie cards, and artificial intelligence that occasionally needs adult supervision. The kids are discovering Prince. I’m discovering what Verizon means by free. And somewhere between global instability and smashburgers, we’re trying to make the math work.
