What freelancing reveals about you (whether you like it or not)

I used to think freelancing was just a different way of working... flexible hours, no commute, that kind of thing. What I didn't expect was how much it would show me about myself. Without a manager setting my structure, a paycheque quietly arriving, or an org chart enforcing my boundaries, I found out pretty fast what I actually do with unstructured time, how I really feel about money, and how far I'll let a client push before I say no.

#043. How to get over the fear of networking as a freelancer

In this episode, I talk about why networking confidence isn't a personality trait some people are just born with. It's a skill, built through reps, the same as anything else. I get into why freelancers specifically miss out on the practice that jobs force on everyone else, why the fear is rarely about the other person's judgment and mostly about our own, and a few small, doable ways to actually build the habit without pretending to be someone you're not.

#042. Where my last 5 client enquiries actually came from

In this episode, I share exactly how my last five client enquiries actually found me. Over the past six weeks, I've had enquiries come in through a mix of channels, and some of them surprised even me. I walk you through each one in detail, sharing the channel they came through, what they wanted, and how you can do the same. This episode is a great reminder that enquiries really can come from anywhere!
