After the Resurrection… What’s Next for Women? | Obedience After Healing, Heartbreak & Restoration

A few weeks ago for Mother’s Day at Greater Gathering Church, I shared a message that has continued to stay with me—and I felt led to share it here with the ladies of It’s My Time with Tarnesha. The message was simple, but powerful:👉 After the resurrection… what’s next for women?
Obedience. So many of us as women have walked through heartbreak, church hurt, grief, rejection, disappointment, trauma, loss, and seasons that tested our faith. But God kept us.And sometimes after God heals us, restores us, and brings us through difficult seasons, we can become hesitant to move forward in what He’s calling us to do next.Drawing from Matthew 28 and the women at the tomb after the resurrection of Jesus, this message is a reminder that Jesus did not heal us just so we could survive—He healed us so we could move forward in purpose and obedience. In this message, we talk about:

healing after heartbreak and difficult seasons

why healed women cannot stay stuck

obedience after restoration

commitment during seasons of suffering

trusting God after disappointment

moving forward even while fear is still present

how Jesus meets us on the road of obedience

One of the biggest reminders from this message:✨ “He healed you. He kept you. He restored you. Now go.” ✨If you’ve been waiting for another sign, another confirmation, or the perfect moment to move forward, I pray this message encourages you to trust what God has already spoken.Because what’s next for women after the resurrection is not endless hesitation. What’s next is obedience.
💬 Reflection Questions💛 For Single Women:
Has fear, disappointment, or past pain caused you to hesitate in areas where God already told you to move?💍 For Married Women:
Are you remaining committed to what God called you to—even in seasons where it feels difficult or costly?✨ For All Women:
What area of your life is God calling you to stop hesitating and start obeying?
