All the ways that you might have connected with others before become limited when you are in charge. </p><p>In this podcast, Ken and Seth share their own experiences and thoughts on how leaders can deal with this loneliness and their feelings of disconnection in organizations. What do we do when we feel thwarted by others in the org? What do we do with the anger or the feelings of disappointment? How do we take risks and invite others to follow along? All of this takes a willingness to be with your own feelings and to know that being a leader requires you to be on your own sometimes.</p>

We have to learn to trust ourselves and have confidence that we belong in this role and earned our right to be here. </p><p>It's unhelpful to doubt ourselves as leaders because all it does is create a corrosive environment for others. Doubt about our abilities is good, but doubt about our right to be here is not. Trust yourself, know yourself, and be willing to grow.</p>
