*LIVE FROM THE WORLD CUP* Matt Holland joins George and Connor LIVE from Seattle at World Cup 2026. The 49 capped former Irish captain joined George and Connor as he prepares for co-commentary duties from the USA and Canada. The lads talked about a very impressive club career that saw Matt made club captain and win Player of The year at almost every club he played for. The Ipswich Town and Charlton legend talked about working hard in the game and being a bit of an accidental viral sensation in recent years thanks to Harry Redknapp and Frank Lampard! The lads talked about a very impressive career in the green jersey, scoring the big goals at the right time (usually from the edge of the box). George gave Matt a 'two-for-one' where he recreated two of Matt ireland goals in a true George Hamilton style! Matt talked about the goal against Cameroon in the 2002 World Cup, what it was like missing a World Cup penalty and how he is a bit tired of talking about Saipan and all that went on there.
