It’s Your Ego-Stupid! is a show lovingly intended for spiritual, intelligent, and imperfect people like you, me, and everyone. People, who may at times be led into what I call “ego stupidity,” a lesser version of themselves, and a lesser version of life. The show draws upon my forty years working as a psychologist in the clinical, university, public school, and private practice settings, to put forth a vision and message that heightens the listener’s awareness of the intense link between our ego and Spirit, our humanity and divinity, and the synergy that can lead to the best version of ourselves and life. From this vantage point, the show offers a unique and different perspective in which raising and integrating awareness of both human and spiritual consciousness is encountered.<br /><br />It’s Your Ego-Stupid! will offer a much deeper understanding of what ego is, what it can be doing to a person’s life to weaken one’s human and spiritual wellness, and how the listener can heal in each of these areas if needed. A central focus of the show involves coming to know that ego is an energy operating within us which when unhealthy and imbalanced in its power, flexibility, or vulnerability can have harmful effects on a person’s life. Particularly, in important areas involving the ability to love oneself and others, forming close relationships, achieving and experiencing a sense of meaning in one’s life, experiencing genuine happiness, and many more. Which also has a “ripple effect” on one’s spiritual wellness.<br /><br />It’s Your Ego-Stupid! will follow a general format of looking at signs of difficulty in an important life area, such as those mentioned earlier, reflections of ego stupidity at work, insights pertaining to ego energy fueling the difficulty, and ego’s impact on spiritual wellness.<br /><br />The core healing message that will be woven into the programs involves a concept I discuss in my books called “ego medicine.” This involves:<br /><br />1) Understanding what ego is and isn’t,<br /><br />2) Tuning into one’s ego energy, and<br /><br />3) Replacing ego rooted non-reality based thoughts with those which are connected to human and Divine Truth.

Resurrection – The Earthly Union of Our Humanity and Divinity<br /><br />Aired Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 8:00 AM PST / 11:00 AM EST<br /><br />This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, I will be focusing on the topic of my forthcoming book, Resurrection—The Earthly Union of Our Humanity and Divinity. The resurrection I’m referring to is one in which one can awaken from the deadness of their egoically based inhumanity to the life-fullness of their humanity being lived in concert with their Divinity. Unfortunately, this is an experience unfamiliar to many who have been unable to awaken to be the Love, Life, and Energy—God Is, within their daily life. And, being unable to recognize and fully embrace the Divine Gifts of their Life, Creating their Life, Eternal Life, and God’s Presence Within them, due to significant ego energy issues. Our earthly resurrection is about fully being our Divine Truth and embracing each of the Divine Gifts, allowing us to experience an earthly version of heaven, here and now.<br /><br /><br /> <br />I’ll be looking at the relationship between our Ego energy and Divine energy that influences the transformation and earthly resurrection that we can bring about, if we so choose. I will be discussing a path of consciousness that we must walk in order to awaken to our Divine Truth and the Divine Gifts which are the endowment and heritage that all have received due to the wisdom of the ages which has unfolded at the hands of God. Not an earthly or humanly constructed version of God. But, God that has existed in the Love, Life, and Energy that is the source of all things and was present long before we humans were here and made possible as the product of creation and evolution. Roles People Live – The Bully<br /><br />Aired Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 8:00 AM PST / 11:00 AM EST<br /><br />This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely at people who are living in the role of the Bully. The Bully seeks opportunities to prey upon the weaknesses of others. Each act of bullying adds to their sense of empowerment. The more they can witness weakness within others, the more they can feel empowered. All strategies to accomplish this are welcome. Be they physical, mental, emotional, or social forms of abuse. What they truly seek is to gain as much distance as possible from their own sense of weakness. This is revealed most directly in how often they target the most vulnerable of those whom they encounter. For them, bullying these people is safest, as they are least likely to challenge their sense of empowerment.<br /><br />During this show, I’ll be drawing upon my book The Two Voices Within to look at the impact of Higher Ego Power on the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of those living in the role of the Bully. I’ll be looking at the “voice” of ego and the messages the Bully is experiencing and working with due to the mixture of their Higher Ego Power energy and their mind. Many of them, the Bully is unaware of, but still exerting a powerful negative impact on their life and unfortunately others. I’ll also be looking at what their ego energy is doing to block the Bully from hearing the voice of spirit which is rooted in their Divinity. An inability to recognize the Love, Life, and Energy—God Is, within their being, due to the great distance being created by their ego energy. Roles People Live – The Stressed-Out Person<br /><br />Aired Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 8:00 AM PST / 11:00 AM EST<br /><br />This week on It’s Your Ego—Stupid!, Dr. Nick will be looking intensely at people who are living in the role of the Stressed-Out Person. The Stressed-Out Person is prone to find danger lurking around every corner of their life. They are an expert in finding things to worry about. This includes any perceived threats, large or small, real or imagined, currently occurring or yet to occur. They become easily upset, experiences intense feelings of anxiety or anger, and remain upset even after they or someone else has dealt with the threat. They have great difficulty letting go of things and moving on. Their normal/typical state of emotional experience is feeling stressed, and they seem to be lost when not in this state.<br /><br />During this show, I’ll be drawing upon my book The Two Voices Within to look at the impact of Higher Ego Vulnerability on the thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of those living in the role of the Stressed-Out Person.
