A married couple sharing their experiences of suburban Chicago and their domestic travels. John and Jennifer are gen xers with adult zoomer children whom find humour in life on a daily basis. They encourage all their listeners to live a regretless life full of empathy and comedy. They'll remain silly but serious when tackling real issues that affect so many. #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #selfcare #addictionsupport #parentscopingwithselfharmingchildren #humouristhebestmedicinebesidesmedicine #rentthemusical
Many things have happened during the long pause in recording. They try and catch the listeners up whilst commenting on becoming members of the sandwich generation.
[Ed. J&J reference Khary Payton, actor, in both "The Walking Dead" and "Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story"
Brent Morin, actor/comedian, starred in "Undateable" with Bridgit Mendler, who was misattributed to the show "Jessie". Mrs. Mendler was in the supremely better "Good Luck Charlie" and had a recurring role on "Wizards of Waverly Place". Most apologies, Mrs. Mendler.]

Just keep swimming
John, firmly in the gray period of his unemployment, and Jen, fully aboard this snowless sleigh ride, continue to keep swimming amid the trials of 2026. They plan on traveling around the suburbs this summer from "Zion to Country Club Hills" to partake in local fairs and concerts and such.
They've thrown the gauntlet down to podcast with S & M this upcoming July 4th long weekend.
[Ed. To clarify, S&M being their names abbreviated, not an abbreviation for Sadism & Masochism]

Find the Direction
Jen and John regale us with some more local vibes and do a fair job mixing metaphors around finding direction. John is very heart-happy and talkative in this episode, mostly because of https://reel-big-fish.com/news/ (https://reel-big-fish.com/news/) Reel Big Fish's reunion announcement.
Open question to the Lombard Park District; "When you planted those tulips, did you just dig a level amount down then scatter a shit-ton of bulbs then cover it with the requisite amount of dirt?"
[Ed. The sensory nodes in the nose are called "olfactory organs".
The song John was incorrectly referring to is "I know you too well to like you anymore" from Reel Big Fish's stellar release "Candy-Coated Fury".
