This was definitely a learning battleground to hone and develop a skill set while adapting the delivery and method of teaching to the skill level of each individual attending a class."

The beautiful thing is that the valleys don't last forever, and eventually you peek out of the valley. I thank God for the peaks and valleys. I've learned that the valley moments help me stay humble."

Brokenness

Psalm 34:18 says, the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit. This verse is a gentle reminder that in our moments of sheer brokenness, we are not alone. The Lord doesn't distance himself from us when we are hurting. Instead, he draws nearer. And I am living proof of this."

And there are several things, and even now I don't understand how they all work together, how they flow. But I realize that's not for me to figure out. So as I was saying, I was praying and asking God, what am I supposed to be doing right now? And I didn't get an answer in prayer."

At the time, I was like, say what? I got tired of that life and living in brokenness. I hit rock bottom. For me, everyone's rock bottom looks different. I was tired of existing in the red heart space. I didn't know the metaphor for it until today. I submitted my life to Christ and the heart healing process started. I moved over into the yellow space."

And what I did was I wrote down the things that I enjoyed, and I noticed there were certain things that I gravitated to, those things that always interest me. And what I realized is many of those things are what I'm gifted to do. It's what I'm called to do. Even though I'm doing a lot of the stuff that I should be doing, I can definitely do more."

Perfect hair, perfect makeup, perfect background setting, and have the perfect script to go online. But what I've come to realize is that the world's not looking for perfect. They are looking for authenticity. They want you to be authentic and be real with them."

Your service, your product. And I find that a lot of people build their business on social media, which is great. Social media is an awesome way to get eyes on your business and services. And a lot of it's free, so that's good. But the thing about it is a lot of people are only depending on their social media pages to market to their audience."
