<p>2019 年 6 月 23 日、沖縄「慰霊の日」を迎えた日にJ-WAVEで放送された番組。</p><p><br></p><p>令和の時代になった今、改めて沖縄の問題に向き合い、考えていくことが重要です。戦後の沖縄の歴史を知ることで沖縄への理解を深め、現代につながる問題について関心をもっていただくため、この番組が企画されました。</p><p><br></p><p>台湾で生まれ育ち、終戦後沖縄に移住。その後沖縄の本土復帰まで沖縄に在住し、その歴史を報道する側からみてきた川平朝清。彼がその時代に体験し、感じたことを、息子であるジョン・カビラがインタビュー。</p><p><br></p><p>第 57 回ギャラクシー賞ラジオ部門大賞、2020 年日本民間放送連盟賞ラジオ・グランプリを受賞。</p><p><br></p><p>地上波の放送では伝え切れなかった貴重な 2 時間超のインタビューを後世に残すため、ディレクターズカットとして 16 話に分け配信。</p>
