I’m a pharmacist, an introvert, and someone who is endlessly curious… so I made a podcast about it. Welcome to my thoughts on life, people, psychology, social issues, culture, and all the random things that keep me up at night.
In this episode, we’re having an honest conversation about mental health and how it can look different at different stages of our lives.
I share personal experiences and stories related to mental health, reflect on some of the things we go through as we grow and change, and review the movie Hokum, which brings its own interesting perspective to the conversation.

The fear of getting married!!
Now, I’ve spent this whole episode unpacking why so many of us fear marriage: the doubts, the horror stories, the things we’ve seen go wrong. But let’s be honest about something else too. There are good marriages out there. Real ones. Ones where two people actually chose each other, and keep choosing each other, every single day.
This isn’t about picking a side. It’s not men against women. It’s not “marriage is a trap” versus “marriage is the goal.” That’s not the conversation I want us to have. Because the truth is bigger than that. Marriage doesn’t fix a person, and it doesn’t break them either. It just amplifies who you already are, and who you’ve chosen to be with.
And here’s the thing. I’m not married. But I’m learning that trust, communication, boundaries, knowing your worth… these aren’t marriage skills. They’re life skills. They don’t magically appear on your wedding day, and they don’t disappear if you never get married either. So whatever you decide, whether marriage is part of your story or not, decide it because you chose it. Not because you’re afraid, and not because you’re proving a point to anyone.
Let’s choose well. For ourselves

Why are you a people pleaser? What I Learned About Losing Yourself to Please Others
In this episode, I open up about my personal experience with people pleasing and the journey of realizing how much it affected me.
We talk about what people pleasing really is, the characteristics of a people pleaser, how we become people pleasers, and the question many of us avoid asking: who benefits from you always putting others first?
This is a vulnerable conversation about seeking approval, setting boundaries, and learning to choose yourself without guilt.
I also share a short review of the series The Polygamist and some thoughts it brought up for me.
If you’ve ever struggled with saying no, trying to make everyone happy, or feeling like you’re losing yourself for others, this episode is for you.

Can we talk about Studying Abroad for real? (As a Tanzanian)
Studying abroad is often portrayed as a dream, but there is so much more to the experience than what people share online. In this episode, I talk about the realities, challenges, unexpected lessons, and personal growth that come with living far from home. From culture shock and loneliness to discovering new perspectives, I explore the things many international students experience but rarely admit. I also shared a movie recommendation and an album I have been obsessed with for a while.
