<div>Welcome to the club! I’m Jack. Together we learn English with classic stories made simple for English learners. Stories are the most powerful way to grow your understanding of the language and have fun at the same time!<br><br></div><div>Join me as we travel through magical, mysterious, funny, and sometimes scary worlds together. Many of these classic stories were written many years ago, when the English language was quite different. This means that reading them today can be very difficult for English learners, and not so useful either. I change the language of these stories to make them easier to understand and using more modern language. I also make sure that the story is just as fun and engaging as the original.<br><br></div><div>This is a British English podcast, so if you are interested in learning British English, this will be particularly helpful for you. You can us this for shadowing (reading out loud with me), or as a listening exercise.<br> </div><div>I believe that your brain begins to acquire the language by first understanding. That’s why we need to get a lot of listening practice before we can hope to speak well.
