(Bag 1 dari 2) Ngobrol bareng Mas Kurnia Effendi, RUANG BUAL COLACHINO Kurnia Effendi ; Kurnia Effendi lahir di Tegal, 20 Oktober 1960. Menulis pertama kali untuk publik tahun 1978 melalui majalah Gadis, Aktuil, dan koran Sinar Harapan. Pada era 80-an gemar mengikuti sayembara menulis fiksi dan berhasil mengumpulkan sekitar 30 penghargaan, 8 di antaranya juara pertama. Saat kuliah bergiat di Grup Apresiasi Sastra ITB. Tahun 1996 bergabung di Komunitas Sastra Indonesia hingga sekarang. Diundang dalam sejumlah perhelatan sastra, antara lain Mimbar Penyair Abad 21 (DKJ, 1996), Pertemuan Sastrawan Nusantara (1997), Panggung Cerpen Indonesia Mutakhir (TUK, 2003), Temu Sastra Kota (DKJ, 2003), Biennale Festival Sastra Internasional (TUK, 2005), Mitra Praja Utama (Disbudpar, 2009), Ubud Writers and Readers Festival (2010), Bali Emerging Writers Festival (2011), Temu Sastra Indonesia-Malaysia (2015). Telah menerbitkan 15 buku terdiri dari antologi puisi, kumpulan cerpen, himpunan esai, novel, dan memoar. Untuk menyebut beberapa buku, antara lain: Bercinta di Bawah Bulan (kumcer, Metafor, 2004); Merjan-Merjan Jiwa (novel, Pustaka Kartini, 2009); Mendaras Cahaya (antologi puisi, Rumah Anggit, 2011); Musim Gugur Telah Usai (kumcer, Elexmedia, 2013); Kincir Api(GPU, 2005), menempati 5 besar Khatulistiwa Literary Award 2006; Anak Arloji(Serambi, 2011), meraih penghargaan sastra Badan Bahasa 2013. Memoar yang pernah ditulis: Hee Ah Lee, The Four Fingered Pianist (Hikmah, 2006); Sue Aziz: Jalan Indah menuju Usia Emas (2012). Selain menulis, ia juga menjadi pembicara dalam diskusi sastra, juri lomba sastra, instruktur pelatihan penulisan kreatif, penyunting lepas sejumlah penerbit, redaktur tamu pada sebuah tabloid di bidang seni budaya (2006 – 2009), dan kurator festival sastra.
