Meditation for after a nightmare - bringing down our physiology and returning to a peaceful state

We all experience nightmares from time to time, either during stressful periods in our life that usually incorporate change. It's important to recognize that this is normal and not to be overwhelmed by them. A nightmare can cause a lot of the hormone cortisol to be released which can make you feel stressed or agitated throughout the day. This Meditation focuses on bringing down our physiology to its base level and allowing to mind to refocus and realize that the situation has now passed and we are now safe. Nightmares can also be very useful information streams, the unconscious trying to inform us of something, but we are not able to interpret these messages unless we come from a place of peace and rationality. Sometimes we experience nightmares for unknown reasons and that's okay too - sometimes the lesson can just be to let go and not to get caught up in too much introspection. Regardless, what's important is that we use these experiences for our benefit and to not let them ruin our day. This Meditation is devised to bring peace and let you know that you're not alone in this experience. We all want deep peace and we can all have it at times if we put in the correct action. I hope this is helpful to you and I wish you a good night sleep and a peaceful day.
